Survey of UK sustainability organisations

We are pleased to announce the start of a year-long project in partnership with the British Standards Institution (BSI), funded by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.

The project, entitled Broadening environmental stakeholder involvement, aims to support BSI in meeting the requirements for multi-stakeholder involvement of EU regulation 1025/2012 and BS 0 by helping to ensure systematic environmental stakeholder representation in BSI committees.

As an initial step, the SNS will be undertaking a comprehensive survey of UK sustainability organisations to gain an understanding of their experience and perception of the standardisation process and of the contribution of standards to sustainability.
