The SNS is currently represented on ten BSI committees concerned with standards on biodiversity, electric vehicles, energy management, energy performance of buildings, environmental management, nanotechnologies and waste electrical and electronic equipment. As of the 1st October 2014, the UK sustainability sector boasts another, brand-new organisation engaged in the fight for the representation of environmental and social sustainability interests.
